Kleurpalet Kleurpalet: Färg & Form. Grote effen kleurvlakken met witte kinderlijke motieven. Hiermee schiet ik wel tekort aan wat deze Zweden nog meer zijn. Maar de essentie wordt er wel het meest door getroffen.
Color Palette: Färg & Form. Large solid areas of color with white childlike motifs. This is way to simple to express what this Swedish brand stand for. But to describe the essence it is probably the most true one.
De lente hangt in de lucht. Zittend in het zonnetje ben ik geheel in de stemming om een blog te schrijven over dit vrolijke Zweedse merk. Färg & Form. Ze zijn echter bij een grote groep bekend vanwege hun heerlijke babykleertjes en -kamer accessoires met wolkenmotief. Toch wordt ik door de kleuren en helder vormen helemaal vrolijk en krijg ik geheel onverwacht een lentegevoel over me heen. ♥

Maar deze aqua groen is toch ook typisch Roommate. Het heeft iets 'dromerigs' en zacht. En daardoor geschikt voor zowel een jongens- als een meidenkamer. Color Palette: Roommate. Roommate is a Danish brand founded to make children's rooms even more fun. Therefore they always make use of bright color combinations and striking forms. But this aqua green is yet also typical Roommate. It has something 'dreamy' and soft. And therefore suitable for both boys and a girls room.Lang lang geleden... Als uit een sprookje uit 'Duizend en één nacht'. Deze serie van het Deense Roommate. Helaas moeten we nog even wachten tot medio mei voordat we het lampje kunnen ophangen. Wat te doen met de zolder? Een vraag die een heleboel mensen niet zo heel onbekend in de oren zal klinken. Dit voorbeeld van een goede indeling voor een zolder kwam ik tegen op de site van Houzz (waar je nu op je favoriete zolderindeling kan stemmen). Zelf vind ik deze wel heel goed geslaagd. Het heeft iets Scandinavisch, Noors, terwijl hij toch echt uit Canada komt. Heerlijk fris met de witte vloer en muren. Met daartegenover het stoere donkergrijs en het warme heldere rood. En ook de prints werken natuurlijk mee aan die Noorse uitstraling. Door de grote effen vlakken mogen er hier en daar best wat verschillende printjes naast elkaar. Alles blijft in een goede balans! What to do with the attic? A question that a lot of people have ask themselves. This example of a good layout for an attic I encountered at the site of Houzz (where you now can vote for your favorite loft layout). Personally I find this very successful. It has something Scandinavian, Norwegian, but he really comes from Canada. Delicious fresh with the white floor and walls. Opposite the tough dark and warm bright red. And of course, the prints make the Norwegian look complete. Due to the large solid areas you may use quite a few different prints together. And still everything is still in balance!

Helder, Fris en vrolijk. Dat is samengevat wel de uitstraling van dit palet. Appeltjes groen naast kersen-rood en fuchsia-roze. Hoe schattig is deze kinder-inloopkast (en hoe chic!) in de stijl van het Deense Rice. Met een heldere witte achtergrond spatten de kleuren je tegemoet. Helaas zijn de vloerafwerkingen wat minder goed uitgekozen. Het nieuwste lid van de bObles familie heet de 'miereneter'. Hij wordt geleverd in drie maten en is uitermate functioneel. Net als bij de overige familieleden worden ook hier de kids uitgedaagd om te spelen, hun motorische vaardigheden te ontwikkelen en hun fantasie de vrije loop te laten.
